We are working with a global Pharmaceutical company in regards to a brand new urgent vacancy within the drug safety department.  This company are well known within the industry for their innovative array of products in multiple therapeutic areas as well as a solid pipeline which is in place for 2019.

 

The Patient Safety Group are currently looking for an experienced PV professional to join the team as a Safety Lead.

 

The successful candidate will be predominantly involved in looking after assigned compounds – both in Clinical Development and Post Marketing stages.  There will be a strong focus on Benefit Risk Management and the individual will also be actively involved in Risk Minimization activities. 
There will also be the requirement to lead a cross functional Benefit Risk Management team and contribute to safety strategies. 

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Be responsible for the Risk Management strategies of assigned compounds
  • Collaborating with teams cross functionally
  • Global oversight of aggregate reports and Signal Detection

 

Experience required:

  • MD background
  • Extensive experience in Risk Management / Drug Safety
  • An excellent knowledge of global regulations
  • Strong analytical skills

We are currently partnered with an established biotech organisation for a brand new role within safety.

 

This client, work on a wide range of therapeutic areas with a strong focus on Oncology.  Following numerous product launches, they are actively looking to build their Pharmacovigilance team.

 

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within safety – predominantly within Signal Management and Risk Minimization. This role will be very hands on, and therefore a proven background in authoring or preparing PBRERs/DSURs and RMPs would be a distinct advantage for this position.

 

The successful candidate will be experienced in providing expert safety input into clinical development projects, Risk Management as well as working with potential drug related risks and serious adverse events.

 

Experience required:

  • Strong background in drug safety
  • Strong understand of PV / Regulatory guidelines
  • Masters degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
  • Hands on background in Risk Management / aggregate reports (PBRERs/DSURs)

You will be working in a capacity reporting into the Data Manager and alongside a talented team of Developers, Analysts and Testers as well as business users with full involvement across the Software Development Lifecycle for mission critical projects.

 

Essential requirements:

  • Understanding of Oracle mainstream development technologies
  • Strong Analytical skill
  • Business Intelligence & Data Warehouse expertise 
  • Business Intelligence tools such as Business Objects, Qlikview, Qlik Sense and Informatica
  • Demonstratable experience using Oracle PL/SQL
  • Understanding big data concepts and databases (E.G. MongoDB)
  • Experience with Windows and UNIX operating systems
