  • Working directly with the VP of clinical development, you will be involved in drug development trials for haematology treatments.
  • Working in a small team, you will collaborate with other teams such as PVG, Regulatory Affairs and external KOLs.
  • The role will include study and site management activities, both regionally and globally.
  • You will also contribute towards feasibility activities for new trials.
  • A background in site management/monitoring or 2-3 years of clinical study management is required.

Senior Clinical Research Associate

Join a leading global contract research organisation

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced CRA to join a leading global contract research organisation, who works closely with their client to deliver customised clinical development solutions. This role offers excellent exposure to all therapeutic indication types. The position of SCRA is a crucial role within the department where development of leadership skills is encouraged and supported.

 

The ideal candidate will have a well rounded and recent therapeutic experience within the areas of Biopharma (mixed therapeutics).

 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for coordinating Phase I-IV clinical trials
  • Perform all types of site visits including, qualification visits, initiation visits, monitoring visits, motivational visits, audit support visits, and  close out visits.
  • Identify potential sites for a proposed study in conjunction with the Project Team, and conduct feasibility assessment of sites as required
  • To liaise with other appropriate departments including to ensure the smooth running of the study
  • To mentor and coach junior CRAs

 

Ideal candidate Requirements:

  • A degree in life science or related
  • Previous CRA experience within clinical research of approximately 2 years +
  • Good clinical knowledge with an understanding of medical terminology
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel across the UK

  • Previous experience in mentoring and coaching CRAs

Would you like to work in a smaller setting where you can make a difference?  We are looking for a Toxicologist with 8+ years’ experience with the Pharma or Biotech industries.

 

Working in the Early and Late stage Portfolio you would be responsible for planning, interpreting and reporting non-clinical Safety and Toxicology Studies enabling the generation of GLP study packages and contributing to regulatory documentation. 

 

The role entails:

  • Design and monitor the non-clinical safety and toxicology studies within GLP and non-GLP environments
  • Conduct internal and external communication and reporting of non-clinical safety data
  • Budget Management
  • Manage toxicity and safety pharmacology activities performed by CROs, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Problem solving in relation to pre-clinical safety plan and toxicology strategy ensuring positive outcomes
  • Providing information to regulatory bodies and relevant authorities
  • Managing processes to ensure deadlines are met
  • Represent company at external meetings and conference
    Candidate Profile:
  • 8+ years within toxicology field in the Pharma industry
  • Education – PhD in related field – Pharmacology, Toxicology, Vet Medicine or similar
  • Leadership experience within Matrix structure and team setting
  • Expertise in the Drug Development process and regulatory requirements for Pre-clinical development of drugs and reviewing of related documentation
  • Sound knowledge of GLP guidelines
  • Previous experience working with CROs
  • Excellent spoken and written English

 

Relocation assistance if appropriate (Italian not required)

 

Salary: 90,000 Per annum Plus benefits

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join this organisation as you will have the chance to grow and personally develop along side the business. My client is looking for a team player who wants to work in an energetic environment, where constant learning and service to others takes top priority.

 

You will be identifying new business opportunities whilst growing relationships with existing clients. You will be responsible for achieving your sales targets and directly generating new business. You’ll also be working with the other support divisions to drive the sales goals of the business.

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Secure new client relationships in order to expand client base
  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships to ensure repeat business
  • Plan, strategize and deliver presentations
  • Track drug development pipelines, within territory, in order to ensure sales success
  • Provide excellent customer service to all parties involved in the clinical study process.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare related field
  • Strong presence and confidence during presentations to customers
  • Strong relationships within pharmaceutical, biotech and/ or device companies
  • Knowledge of the industry, competitors, and sales benchmarks
  • Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales goals in a clinical service environment

 

This is a home based position and you can be based anywhere in the US.
