A niche European expanding CRO are seeking an experienced CRA to work on a sponsor dedicated basis in South of England.

This fantastic opportunity will allow the successful candidate to work on cutting-edge Oncology studies in a home based role. You will have a clear reporting structure with excellent opportunities for training and development.
Key responsibilities will be to:
  • Conduct site management activities including site selection, site initiation visits, site training, routine monitoring and close-out visits
  • Establish and maintain close contact with Investigators, vendors, and trial sites to ensure compliance with applicable local and international regulations
  • Review the progress of projects and ensure targets are met
  • Perform all aspects of data handling, reporting, tracking and administrative tasks
Ideal candidate requirements:
  • Educated to degree level in Life Sciences or equivalent
  • Previous independent monitoring experience of at least 2 years in a CRO or Pharma environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence

SAP Administrator with experience of Netweaver and Redhat Linux 6

3 month contract with extensions - Must be Fluent Dutch in spoken and written word.

  • Coordination with various stakeholders such as key users, functional and technical management;
  • Management of product suppliers regarding changes, new releases and patches;
  • Control on SLAs, both internally and externally;
  • Making impact analyses, planning, coordinating and monitoring changes and releases;
  • Testing and monitoring the quality of the applications;
  • Monitoring the lifecycle of the applications;
  • Monitoring the correct operation of the Acceptance and Production environments;
  • Analysing and resolving incidents;
  • Guaranteeing knowledge by keeping the documentation up to date;
  • Participate in renewal and improvement projects from within Application Support.
The IT services are delivered from the IT Development (ITD) and IT Services (ITS) units, both within Professional Services IT. ITD provides project management services and ITS focuses on management of networks and workplaces.
In addition, the CIO office is in charge of IT and the connection between IT demand and supply. Finally, there is a Program Office (EPB) program organization, which accommodates all of the larger (business) programs and projects.
Both ITD and ITS are customer-oriented and professional IT organizations that provide IT services to the various organizational units of the EUR, i.e. faculties, other Pro Service and the University Library. The vast majority of IT functions are performed within IT. A total of around 90 FTEs work within IT at EUR.

  • Experience with SAP products in the cloud is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Databases (upgrade / update, backup / restore): Oracle and SQL / Anywhere.
  • Practical experience with OS; Redhat Linux 6 and 7 and Windows server 20xx
  • Work experience with network issues: Filtering; WAF and Zonering

In line with the revenue and performance approved by the CCO, you build a sales plan, assign territories and sales goals to your team members. As a manager, you bring a strong expertise in sales and follow the commercial activities on a weekly basis by preparing action plans. You provide feedback, support, and coaching to your team and visit clients and prospects for negotiation. You make sure that there is high customer satisfaction within the territory.
Furthermore, through regular assessment in coordination with the local Subject Matter Expert, you assign trainings necessary to continuously grow the team expertise to reach or exceed sales targets. You are also involved in the hiring process to create the most performing team.
  • A master degree in Sciences within a well-regarded institution; PhD will be an advantage.
  • First experience in managing a team of sales representatives. Excellent communication skills, including experience in communicating complex scientific principles in simple terms.
  • Ideally, previous experience as working as part of a team to develop the company’s customer base and provide a first-class experience to clients, preferably in the clinical diagnostics, biotechnology or medical technology market.
  • English (the business language) is mandatory.
