Would you like to lead an exploratory chemistry team exploring inspired changes within science to change lives.

Working with early projects building portfolios whilst generating and implementing new ideas. There are extensive benefits within this position including share equity. A determined and motivated medicinal chemist with thirst for discovery and an ability to teach and mentor would be perfect for this role.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Designs and performs sophisticated, technically challenging experiments
  • Interprets complicated, multidimensional SAR data and generates new design hypotheses
  • Provides innovative medicinal chemistry solutions to answer key biological questions
  • Interprets HTS data, formulates and articulates chemical strategy
  • Introduce new principles/concepts from other fields to establish new paradigms in Projects
  • Productively disseminates ideas across discipline- and project-boundaries

 

The Candidate:

  • Extensive relevant experience of Lead Discovery within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Track record of successfully initiating projects across target classes
  • Up-to-date knowledge of medicinal chemistry
  • Experience of modern hit finding techniques
  • Appreciation of target identification tools and techniques
