Our client is a very prestigious global organisation that are currently expanding their IT team. As part of this growth, they currently require a new Business Analyst to join them, with a focus on Data/Business Intelligence projects. The ideal candidate will be a BA that is passionate about data and related technologies to assist the client as they build their data capability. You will be joining at an ambitious time as they look to exploit current data platforms and provide effortless insights to decision-makers across the business.

 

In this role, you will work with stakeholders within the IT and business functions across different geographies to promote the BI function, deliver value and increase technology maturity of key business users. You will be the interface between business and technical teams to define and articulate requirements, perform analysis, data mapping, deliver reporting and analytical solutions. The role requires working closely with Project Managers and run data projects across the entire life cycle from start to finish.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Experience as a Business Analyst working in both Waterfall and Agile environments, working on Business Intelligence Projects.
  • Knowledge of Data Warehouse Design and BI reporting platforms.
  • Proficient with Visualization and Analytical tools like PowerBI (or similar).
  • Proficient in writing and interpreting SQL queries
  • Good understanding of MS BI stack - SSIS, SSRS and SSA
