Duties and responsibilities of the Senior Market Access Research Scientist:

The Senior Market Access Research Scientist will join this fantastic group and will be responsible for generating evidence and developing value communications in the field of health economics covering disease burden, clinical trials, health-related quality of life and cost-effectiveness evaluations.

 

Additional responsibilities include:
Project management and responsibility for delivering the following:

  • Pragmatic and systematic literature reviews (SLRs) of clinical efficacy/effectiveness, health related quality of life, health economics, epidemiology and treatment guidelines
  • Value communications projects such as value dossiers and value messaging to support client market access.
  • Health Technology Assessment reviews
  • Medical writing including peer-reviewed manuscripts
  • Management of project budgets, timelines and resource requirements
  • Line management of junior staff as required
  • Continuous training, development and mentoring of junior staff
  • Any other evidence generation to support Health Economics Outcomes Research (HEOR) projects and market access requirements

 

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in a relevant healthcare subject (Market access, Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Research, Health economics, Biopharmaceutical Sciences, Drug Development, Pharmaceutical Studies)
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in the field of HTA/SLR/HEOR
  • Strong knowledge of HTA methodologies and processes.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor & develop teams of scientists
  • Proven breadth of experience across multiple project types and disease areas or depth/specialism in a discipline
