A specialist medical education agency has an opening for a Medical Director to help lead the development of innovative and impactful programmes for HCPs.

Due to their extensive expertise in delivering medical education through digital channels, this well-established agency is as busy as ever, working on important campaigns that address unmet educational needs and improve outcomes for patients.


In this role you will have the opportunity to collaborate with internationally renowned clinical experts, and enjoy a high level of autonomy in your work.


As Medical Director you will effectively lead the delivery of assigned activities, taking responsibility for the development process, review, approval, and adherence to timelines, in close collaboration with Principal Medical Writers.


Working across different therapy areas and a range of deliverables, you’ll serve as the lead scientific contact for clinical experts, offer strategic input on accounts, and provide editorial support and guidance for internal teams.


This is a fully home-based role.

Everyone in the agency works remotely, which has limited additional challenges in the current climate. The team enjoy a collaborative culture with processes in place that ensure open channels of communication and plenty of support.



  • Scientific background (PhD preferred) and excellent scientific writing style.
  • Broad therapy area knowledge including: Oncology, Cardiology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Respiratory and Ophthalmology
  • Relevant medical communications experience ideally in an agency setting.
  • IME/CME experience
  • Multichannel expertise and knowledge across a broad range of medical education activities.
  • Strong leadership and relationship building skills, line management experience preferred.
  • On-site and supporter facing experience ESSENTIAL.
