Role Overview:As an Associate Editor, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and compliance of a wide range of medical communications materials. You will oversee the development and editing of documents, maintaining alignment with client styles and industry standards, while also contributing to the growth and success of the editorial team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation, editing, and review of high-quality medical communications materials.

  • Ensure all documents meet client style guidelines and industry standards.

  • Utilise Microsoft applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Adobe, proficiently.

  • Apply a comprehensive understanding of compliance and the ABPI code.

  • Manage documents through the review process using Veeva, including reference linking.

  • Mentor junior editorial staff and provide guidance on best practices.

  • Collaborate with writers and account managers to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.

  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and ensure deliverables exceed expectations.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 1.5+ years of experience in medical communications, specifically in editorial roles.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Adobe.

  • Strong working knowledge of compliance and the ABPI code.

  • Extensive experience using Veeva for reference linking and managing documents through review.

  • Proven ability to edit documents to align with various client styles.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
