​An exciting opportunity has arisen within a field leading client of ours based in Uckfield, currently looking for an Automation Test Analyst who will be responsible for ensuring releases of their bespoke platform are bug free, working alongside the software development and Product teams to plan test strategies and ensure releases meet their quality requirements. You will be working with a range of manual and automated testing techniques, writing test cases and producing bug reports.

Duties and Key responsibilities:

  • Review proposed change documentation to provide timely and meaningful feedback and estimates.

  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.

  • Support release planning by providing estimates, priorities, and test plans.

  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify testing requirements

  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.

  • Work with various team to record and document production bugs.

  • Document, record and prioritise bugs identified during test cycles.

  • Maintain and update the regression test pack and execute during test cycles

  • Execute test plans including, Feature Testing, Regression Testing & Exploratory testing

  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

  • Investigate the causes of non-conforming software

Qualification and essential skills required:

  • Proven experience in software quality assurance for enterprise applications

  • An understanding of the full software testing lifecycle & methodologies with experience of Functional, Integration and Regression testing

  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

  • Experience writing and maintaining test using Selenium

  • Experience with CI/CD and Azure DevOps

Desirable skills:

  • Experience of Azure, Office365, SharePoint integration

  • Knowledge of SQL and scripting

  • Experience with performance and security testing

  • Experience of working in an ISO27001 Information Security Management System environment.
