A brilliant, bold, and vibrant creative healthcare communications agency is looking for a Digital Production Manager to join them and advocate excellence in digital communication, internally and with clients. This role has a blend of technical consulting and technical production. A strong background in digital development is required, especially as another part of this role will be to upskill and inspire the broader agency with innovations in digital comms.

You will technically guide and advise both clients and internal staff, including writing simple technical and best practice documents, liaising with the US office and their technical teams to ensure that working practices run parallel. Working with UI/UX and design teams, advising on the technical features of turning their work into technically viable digital products.

Closely working alongside the creative and strategy teams to provide insight into third party digital suppliers, you will also manage 3rd part development partners to ensure deliverables are met and negotiating fair rates for the agency. Through research, you will help improve the agencies digital offerings with emerging technological advances and processes.

Skill requirements and experiences:

  • Understanding of healthcare and pharmaceutical industry

  • Knowledge of PHP/LAMP

  • Experience with Veeva Systems products (CLM, Approved Email, Engage for Portals and MyInsights), building and deploying materials

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels, including clients, 3rd party agencies and internal teams

  • Experience within a development role, ideally as a Senior Developer

  • Outstanding knowledge of HTML (5), CSS (3), JavaScript/jQuery, PHP

  • Good working knowledge of SEO best practice techniques

  • Analytical mindset

  • Organised and the ability to plan in a high-pressure environment

  • Working knowledge of standard content management systems

  • The ability to learn new systems and code bases quickly

  • Fantastic understanding of web accessibility and W3C
