Director, PK/PD Modelling and Simulation Group Head

​The Preclinical team at RBW are working in close partnership with a world-renowned organisation that require a leader for their discovery PK/PD modelling and simulation team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced scientist that is looking for the next step in their career to lead and build your own team of modellers. You will be required to drive preclinical PK/PD strategies from early discovery to first in human studies.

Responsibilities:

• Implement modelling and simulation approaches including PK/PD, PBPK and quantitative systems pharmacology.

• Act as project lead for DMPK and interact with multidisciplinary areas to implement the correct ADME studies.

• Design of in vivo PK/PD studies using modelling techniques.

• Guide dose selection and predict first in human pharmacokinetic profile.

• Develop in vitro to in vivo correlation techniques.

Requirements:

• Educated to PhD with a minimum of 10 years industry experience.

• Sufficient knowledge using software including NONMEM, R, Phoenix WinNonlin, Gastroplus etc.

• Significant experience in DMPK and drug discovery with a focus on modelling and simulation is required.

• Strong communication skills to interact with key opinion leaders.

• Extensive publication list outlining your work in the DMPK field.
