Director/Associate Director, Pharmacovigilance Scientist

​Location: Remote, USA

​

This position, is a brand new position with an innovative biotech company who are seeking to build their Pharmacovigilance function, through the hiring of an experienced drug safety candidate to join in a predominantly operations / case management oversight and vendor management focused position.

​

The ideal candidate will have worked in the biotech / Global Pharma setting for a lengthy period and will have proven experience in Safety Risk Management and Safety Surveillance.

​

This role will be ideally suited to someone who has worked a Pharmacovigilance Scientist for a number of years, and is looking to progress their career to a position at “Associate Director/Director” level.

​

Typical responsibilities will include the drafting of aggregate reports / RMPs, Signal Detection activities, as well as supporting more junior members of the PV Science group.

​

The company are a leader in the Oncology field, and have had great track record with their products / pipeline to date. After a recent IPO, they are in a strong financial position and therefore in a strong position to further build their team.

Experience required:

• Strong background in drug safety

• Previous experience in drafting aggregate reports is essential. 

• Proven experience in Safety Surveillance / Risk Management

• Line management (preferred but not essential)
