Financial Controller

An opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join a creative, full-service medical communications agency. This wonderful, social and friendly agency is located in the beautiful setting of Richmond, working to a hybrid model with a blend of office and working from home. Working closely with Senior Management, you will be a vital team member as they grow and expand.

About the role:

• You will manage the day-to-day finance function of the agency, as well as fully complete the monthly management and financial reporting routines.
• Ensure senior management and relevant team members have all relevant financial information
• Working directly with the Managing Director and Financial Director
• Present monthly reports at management meetings
• Timely invoicing at month end
• Daily/weekly bank reconciliation
• Assisting Managing Director with budgeting and monthly rolling forecast process
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns.
• Work closely with HR regarding payroll changes, compliance to the legal framework around employee benefits and KPI/Bonus scheme creation and monitoring

About you:

• Experienced in a similar role
• ACA / ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Experience handling the day-to-day finances of a business
• Great eye for detail
• Clear and confident communicator
• Team player who builds relationships quickly with colleagues
