We have a fantastic opportunity to join an early-stage award-winning start up, work within a small but highly motivated team and develop solutions that will help shape the business. My client is looking for an enthusiastic Full Stack Software Engineer with strong experience of UI/UX who wants to help develop exciting early stage oncology detection technology.
Main job responsibilities:
- Develop UI/UX for integration of local hardware with cloud analytics
- Develop and implement UI/UX design inputs for Software as a Medical Device (SaMD)
- Develop user stories for SaMD
- Further develop signal acquisition, processing and quality management data analytics using R and/or Python
- Work within the team to develop frontend and backend unit tests
- Develop and work within team to develop and perform end to end integration tests
- Help to develop our CI/CD pipelines
- Help to develop our version control systems
- Help to advance our technology towards adoption
- Help with software verification
Essential requirements:
- Experience in HTML, CSS, React, JavaScript, JSON
- Experience working with R and/or Python
- Experience developing software with Git
- Experience developing applications in a regulated environment
- Experience with cloud environments e.g. AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud is beneficial
- Experience working within an Agile environment such as Scrum or Kanban
- Excellent communication skills and ability to develop solutions quickly based on needs
- BSc/MSc degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience
- Must currently have full right to work in the UK (the company are not licensed to sponsor visas)
- An excellent communicator, both verbal and written
- Hard-working and willing to go above and beyond learning new skills when needed
- Love working as part of a team and collaborating with others
Set yourself apart:
- Experience in developing software as a medical device
- Prior experience using Jira as a project management tool and/or working in Agile methodology
- Experience with data manipulation languages such as SQL is beneficial
