Marketing and Communications Manager - Healthcare Communications (Part time / Full time)

This is an exciting opportunity to work Part or full-time as a Marketing and Communications Manager. This role will involve reporting directly to the Chief Development Officer and working closely with the senior management team.  The role will be varied being responsible for promoting our companies to increase company visibility to support company business and company recruitment

Who are you?

You will be a strong commercial and creative marketer who loves to drive customer and candidates’ awareness developing innovative and engaging marketing campaigns.  This role is newly created and will be autonomous so we are looking for someone that is driven and a self-starter who can work effectively at senior management level.    This opportunity will also sometimes involve driving internal brand awareness

What will the role involve?

Deriving, driving and owning the creation and implementation of a strategic marketing plans.

Typical responsibilities will involve

  1. Proposing and agreeing and reporting specific monthly, quarterly and annual KPI’s
  2. Creating and implementing marketing initiatives and customer experience journeys
  3. Undertake stakeholder analysis, mapping and segmentation to key specialist media (considering earned, owned and paid opportunities), and social/online influencers in order to design an deliver appropriately targeted marketing campaigns required for growth and recruitment
  4. Develop and maintain up to date competitor analysis
  5. Manage the design, production and placement of promotional materials
  6. Social and trade media channels ensuring a constant, relevant news flow
  7. Assessing the potential value of key industry forums, societies, sponsorships, awards entries and events,
  8. Identifying and developing speaking opportunities and other platforms for key individuals within the business,
  9. Provide ad-hoc swift response to emerging market developments and trends so as to give our client a voice in specific online and offline media
  10. Partner with our client’s people and culture leads to ensure synergies across internal and external communications programmes, with an emphasis on attracting and retaining the most talented people

Experience and Competencies Required

  • Ideally a science or business degree,
  • Broad experience gained from working within health communications or pharmaceutical brand management in marketing roles is essential,
  • Budget management experience and a proven track record of achieving marketing targets, lead generation campaigns and revenue generation initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, enquiring, insightful and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Personal involvement in the creation, presentation and achievement of successful promotion and campaigns for high value new business and significant organic business growth
