​Our Client is part of a national network helping turn great ideas into positive health impact. To support their communications team they are looking to recruit a Principal Communications advisor.

​

Who you are
You will love creating and developing communications programmes, especially digital and enjoy project and campaign planning and media management. Having ideally worked within an agency setting with exposure to healthcare clients you are now looking for an in-house role to utilise your skills.

​

Typical responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and lead implementation of creative communications initiatives for clients

  • Provide on-going strategic communications

  • Identify and deliver strategy to drive commercial growth

  • Build relationships with key media regionally and nationally, leading development of a media engagement plan

  • Working closely with communications team

  • Manage budgets and agency support

  • Develop and Execute corporate communications strategies to enhance company reputation

  • Work with wider business, including projects patient safety and communications teams, to ensure corporate communications aligned with business strategy

  • Build and maintain strong and positive network of key internal stakeholders through business

  • Develop and implement media relations strategies and activities and support content manager

  • Lead on corporate branding, both visual and verbal.

Core Competencies and skills:

  • Appetite for media relations

  • Excellent personal organisation skills, including prioritising and working to tight deadlines

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent eye for detail, with experience in proof reading

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with an optimistic /solutions orientated mindset
