Principal Statistical Programmer – Lead client facing role focusing on complex on oncology trials (Phase II and III)!
Location – United Kingdom hybrid or fully remote

We are working with a leading Clinical Research Organisation, with a great reputation for bringing outsourced services to pharma, biotech and medical device companies with patients being at the heart of what they do!

This a great role for a Principal Statistical Programmer looking for a technical and managerial opportunity where they will have the opportunity to focus on a number of complex oncology trials, working directly with clients.


Overview of the Role:
 
  • Leading programming deliverables for complex assignments working on a number of projects at once
  • Creating, validating, and executing a range of statistical programs and applies extensive domain knowledge in the programming of datasets, tables, figures, and listings for quality and accuracy.
  • Building long-term relationships with clients in a partnership role.
  • ongoing coaching and mentorship of individual team members
  • implement creative solutions to balance competing priorities and focus on exceeding client expectations
  • provide managerial leadership including mentorship and training of direct reports

Education and Qualification:
    • Bachelor’s degree required (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related scientific discipline); Master’s degree or PhD preferred
    • 7+ years  Statistical Programming experience within clinical research, including oncology
    • Lead Experience having covered PHASE II and III studies
    • Pinnacle 21 experience is strongly preferred
    • Expert knowledge of SAS. R beneficial
    • Proven effective leadership skills.
