Geoff King at RBW Consulting has engaged with one of the world’s leading specialist data focused CROs providing full data services solutions to a range of companies from top tier pharmaceutical companies through to niche biotech organisations.
Due to continued growth, this company now require a Principal Statistical Programmer to provide high quality statistical support to clients in the delivery of multiple projects.
As part of the full service, multi-sponsor team you will be responsible for leading a small team of Statisticians to provide ongoing mentorship, be project lead point of contact for key clients and provide technical oversight in support of operational deliverables.
Main duties & responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical support in the delivery of projects across the statistics function
- Update and enhance procedures and applicable SOPs within Programming.
- Ensure high levels of customer care are provided by self and by team.
- Represent the Company in disseminating and publishing technical knowledge within the statistical community/pharmaceutical industry at national and international level.
- Be the Project Statistical Programmer or Technical Lead Point of Contact for statistics for select key clients.
- Provide mentorship of assigned personnel.
Key requirements:
- Statistical Programming experience within the CRO/Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industries
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field and 8+ years relevant experience
- CDISC, SDTM and ADaM knowledge essential
- Commercial awareness, budgeting, resource allocation etc
- Experience of coaching/mentoring beneficial
