Location: Remote, USA

​Presented is an opportunity for a Project Director position with a small, full-service CRO supporting biotechnology, medical device and pharmaceutical companies. This resource will be responsible for the overall coordination and management of clinical trials from start-up through close out.

This resource will report directly to a Director of Project Management and be responsible for leading either Oncology, CNS or Rare Disease studies in all phases. Since this is a small company, this position will wear many hats and will need to have an expertise in all things clinical research, have worked their way up the proverbial ladder.

Oncology, Rare Disease or CNS experience is a must. This role will also have the responsibility of maintaining the budget and overall project management plans, and have input on bid defenses. There could be some monitoring associate with this position, but only from an as needed basis.


  • 6 years of clinical project management and a great understanding of project management techniques

  • 8-10 years in the clinical research industry

  • Oncology, CNS, Rare Disease experience

  • Knowledge of budgets, bid defense, trial design.

  • GCP, ICH, FDA knowledge

  • Strong ability to lead and mentor staff and willingness to work on the ground at times

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
