I am hiring for a QA Manager to take a hands on approach across QC, production and warehouse functions. Leading a department of 20 (not all direct reports!) you will also be working closely with the Head of Quality, deputising in their absence – so this is a real opportunity to take your experience and responsibility forwards.
Given the nature of this being a contract site, versatility is key and the ability to demonstrate project management and leadership skills will a key factor in the selection process.
You do not need years and years of experience (if you have that, you might be better suited to the Head of Quality position!) – what you do need is the capacity and experience to manage a team whilst also delivering on the practical responsibilities of the quality department.
With a global presence, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects supplying critical medicine across the world.

Quality, QA, assurance, GMP, manufacturing, distribution, packaging, CDMO, pharmaceutical, batch, release, systems, compliance, regulatory, senior, manager, leader, supervisor, specialist, RP, responsible

Key experience:
- 5+ years experience in a quality GMP pharmaceutical environment, within a quality setting
- Educated to degree level from a relevant technical background
- Direct management experience
- Strong understanding of the range of quality responsibilities on a testing, manufacturing and packaging facility
- The ability to lead projects from a quality perspective – that will include some client facing work
