Senior Business Analyst

​A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen within a field leading client of ours who are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join a growing analysis team to lead the delivery of system changes, partnering with business leads, understanding their needs, working with technical teams to define solution options and leading the implementation through to successful adoption. The key will be the ability to engaged and understand stakeholders and gain an understanding of their business units, prepare options in a language they understand and lead a workstack around the ERP platform Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

Analysis:

• You will be at the heart of business analysis, using your experience as a proven Senior Analyst to deliver what is needed to move us forward.

• Empowered to lead on change initiatives you will be confident taking a 1 liner request, through definition and benefit analysis to efficient implementation and adoption.

• Working within a team with a clear purpose of improving our users experience, delivering our client’s needs and enhancing our internal efficiency.

• Comfortable maintaining a backlog of changes, working to the priorities you agree with your stakeholders.

• Leading innovation within the team, bringing your ideas and experience to grow our capability.

Delivery:

• A strong “can do” attitude with an ability to motivate colleagues to do the same

• Delivering within an agile environment with offshore development teams.

• Identify, compare and help your team to decide the best processes to use, including measuring, evaluating, managing and visualising options.

• Drive and take responsibility for investigating problems and opportunities in existing and new services and use it to produce solution recommendations.

• Take responsibility for the creation of user stories, requirements, test cases and identify the impact on operational service.

• Influence stakeholders and manage relationships effectively, facilitating the ownership of backlogs and critical changes.

• Drive collaboration across business and IT delivery teams to ensure project deliverables meet the business need and deliver value.

• Confidence to present ideas to C+ level

What you’ll bring:

• An engaging, confident and pragmatic analyst with a deep-rooted ability to define and deliver business change, who appreciates change is not about the technology it is all about the enhanced business capability.

• Experience with transactional systems/ERP

• Need to be able to have difficult conversation with stakeholders

• Experience with sales process/enrolment process experience ideal as unlikely to get Dynamics NAV experience due to low salary but would be amazing if you can find this

• Operations experience

• A passion to understand our business

• Confidence acting as the bridge between business and technical teams

• Experience delivering using Agile, ideally SCRUM (desirable)

• High capability of analysing and delivering change across a complex integrated systems environment

• Experience working with complex integrated processing systems like an ERP or CRM platform

• Experience in delivering new product evaluations via RFPs or similar process

• Business analysis formal training/qualification (desirable)

Projects include:

• Delivery and functionality around MS Dynamics NAV (would be nice to see candidates with some experience with ERP, doesn’t have to be NAV, but something like salesforce or SAP).

• Delivery of MIS tools, sale process enrolment tools – these are systems they use within company.
