Senior Clinical Research Associate/SSU Specialist

£ - DOE

UK

I am currently working with a very unique, small CRO who, due to expansion throughout the UK and Europe, are looking for a SCRA.

Although the team is small, your opportunities to progress and take on a mixed array of interesting duties are significant.

The company fully appreciate the complexities of managing a full and busy CRA diary and due to this, they are actively employing contract CRA’s to reduce the number of visits that their permanent members will have to carry out.

To further demonstrate their flexibility, they will also consider applications from people who might wish to work 4 days per week (5 days however is preferred)

You will be working across range of Therapy Areas, covering Psychiatry, Neurology, Respiratory, Rare Disease and Oncology and will mainly be working in phases 2 & 3.

Other details include:

  • Provide mentoring, training, and co-monitoring of junior clinical team members
  • Attend and present at meetings and conferences, including Investigator Meetings
  • Participate in the RFP process, including business development meetings
  • Perform both onsite & remote monitoring and study closure activities across multiple protocols
  • Contribute to the development and review of protocols, study tools, and materials as well as documentation for clinical trials
  • To have a clear knowledge and understanding of industry regulation (ICH/GCP)
  • To carry out between 6 – 8 visits per month (flexibility can be shown)
  • Life Science degree preferred but not essential and applications without must demonstrate sufficient experience within the role.
  • As part of the ongoing efforts to introduce variation and to provide CRA’s with an understanding of different areas, you will be expected to undertake contract negotiation, ethics submissions and feasibility studies
  • 5+ years’ experience preferred.

If you are looking to progress your career within a small CRO environment, look no further. This company are flexible and adopt a very mature, collaborative working environment and are looking forward to hearing from CRA’s who are serious about development.

This is one of the many CRA’s roles I am recruiting for across in the UK. If you would like to have a confidential discussion about how to progress your career, please call Paul Adam on 01293 364079 or send me your CV, paul.adam@rbwconsulting.com

I look forward to hearing from you
