As SMW you will be responsible for the development of high quality, scientifically accurate content across a range of deliverables including meetings materials, training programmes, publications and digital media. You’ll be a point of scientific contact for clients, provide on-site support where needed, and help to ensure projects are delivered on time and on brief.

You will be joining an established editorial team with a supportive structure. As you grow in the role you’ll have opportunities for involvement in scientific strategy on accounts, as well as mentorship and management of junior writers.

  • Significant medical writing experience within a medical communications agency environment and knowledge across a broad range of medical education activities.

  • Ability to tailor writing style appropriately for different audiences.

  • Life science degree, ideally combined with a higher qualification (MSc, PhD)

  • Superb working knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Strong organisation, time management and people skills.

  • Proactive working style, ability to work well in a team and independently.
