Sr. Director of Clinical Operations

​Presented is an opportunity for a Sr. Director of Clinical Operations in the Boston area. Our client is a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry looking to bring on a senior leader to oversee a large clinical team. The team consists of 10-15 individuals and will mainly sit in a strategic oversight position reporting to the VP of Clinical Operations.

This position will be highly cross functional and work across other senior leaders among various functional groups. This resource will need to have a general sense and knowledge of a variety of different therapeutic areas as well as the entire drug lifecycle.

​

This company has been a leader in the industry for the last decade plus, have a large pipeline of leading candidates and a robust portfolio of drugs in the early development stage. This position can sit remotely on the east coast.

​

Qualifications:

• PhD and 10 years’ experience, MS with 10-12 years’ experience or BA 12-15 years’ experience within the industry from a sponsor/biotech/biopharma perspective

• 7+ years leadership experience - leading/building out teams with Direct Reports

• Tactical and Strategic experience in a leadership position

• Expertise in FDA, ICH/GCP guidelines

• Strong ability to lead and mentor staff and willingness to work on the ground at times

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
