Location: Office based - Cambridge, Winchester, Glasgow

Geoff King at RBW Consulting is supporting a global Top 10 CRO in their search for a Statistical Programmer II to join their expanding team. This role offers fantastic career development and training opportunities to gain all of the skills needed to become Senior, Principal and Manager and would be office based in Cambridge, Winchester or Glasgow.

Main duties & responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced computer programming support for creation and maintenance of programs used for data management, statistical report generation, and program validation.

  • Assist Data Management and Biostatistics with developing tools and techniques for improving process efficiencies.

  • Communicates effectively within a multi-disciplinary project team to complete assigned tasks on time and within budget.

  • Ability to act as a Lead Programmer on selected studies

  • Provide quality control support for statistical programming

  • Represent Biostatistics department within the company, and interface with clients as required

Key requirements:

  • PhD, MSc or BSc in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field

  • SAS programming experience working within a clinical trials environment (Pharma, CRO or biotech)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to communicate with a broad range of people across different functions
