Supporting LOOK - National Federation of Families with Visually Impaired Children

On Monday 25th May, Zoe, Michelle and Gavin will be running the Bupa 10,000 in London, supporting LOOK.


LOOK’s aim is to improve the lives of families with Visually Impaired children and young people by providing support, information and activities with a view to helping them gain the best outcomes in life and reach their full potential.


Did you know….

  • 1 in 4 VI children under the age of 12 experience depression.
  • 40% of blind children don’t have neighborhood friends to play with
  • 90% of those who lose their sight in youth won’t work for more than six months in their lives
  • 2/3 of blind and partially sighted people are on the poverty line


The team have been training hard and are hoping for good weather on the day. Good luck to you and everyone else taking part in the Bupa 10,000 this year.
