RBW holds Macmillan Coffee Morning
3rd October 2016

The very first event held across RBW offices!

On Friday 30th September, RBW hosted its very first Macmillan Coffee Morning supporting Macmillan Cancer Support.

RBW employees were encouraged to bring homemade treats in for the cake sale. For the Crawley office, along with lots of other bakes, Chris turned up with cheese, bacon and chorizo scones, Michelle's Dad made some Scotch Eggs, Donna and her daughter arrived with chocolate cupcakes and Zoe added a Victoria Sponge to the table.  Dani based in the Brighton office arrived with a carrot & courgette cake.

The sale was a great success with many people taking cake home to be enjoyed over the weekend. Not forgetting what the cake was in aid of, we had a money collection open throughout the morning. RBW raised over £204 for Macmillan which is fantastic! We are delighted to have helped such a great cause!

We love a competition here at RBW so we did have a prize for "RBW's Star Baker 2016" - this was awarded to Ant Eagle who made (with a little help) a Victoria Sponge with fresh fruit! The photo above shows the scale of the bake!

Thank you to all employees who took part in the day!
