ISPOR - round up
14th November 2016

Vienna, November 2016

Vienna was this year’s venue for the ISPOR conference at the start of November, an invaluable resource for our Health Economics & Market Access team. Thousands – quite literally – of professionals in this sector attend the event annually, which gives us an opportunity to meet both established contacts and new joiners to the industry in the space of three very busy days!

This particular sector is extremely niche, and we find being able to have face to face meetings with such a broad variety of candidates and clients extremely useful. Whether these meetings were to provide career advice to candidates or discuss recruitment strategy with Hiring Managers, or simply have a conversation about the state of the market as a whole, we really enjoyed being able to put our brand ethos into action.

We feel there is a clear difference between RBW’s offering in this area and that of other recruiters, as we are uniquely consultative and take such a long term-ist view of our interactions with both clients and candidates. Danielle Cohen and Ray Bird, our senior members of the team, have a combined 17 years of experience in this particular market, and both see their roles as advisors to the sector rather than the more sales-driven approach taken by our competitors.

We will be leaders in this field for some time to come, and with 1,971 new members in attendance this year alone, we are delighted to be an integral part of this growth field. If you would like to join our Health Economics network, please feel free to either apply to our 8000+ strong group on LinkedIn (click here!) or email us via suggesting a time for one of our Consultants to call you.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the next ISPOR conference - ISPOR 22nd Annual International Meeting in Boston, USA. For more details, click here!
