Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented Analytical Chemist to join a dynamic team in Waterford. As an Analytical Chemist, you will play a crucial role in the development and validation of analytical methods using state-of-the-art mass spectrometry techniques, including LCMS and GCMS. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the advancement of pharmaceutical science while ensuring compliance with GMP/GLP standards.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·         Develop and validate analytical methods using LCMS and GCMS techniques for the analysis of pharmaceutical compounds.

·         Conduct routine analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to support manufacturing operations.

·         Perform method troubleshooting, optimization, and transfer to ensure robust and reproducible results.

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development, formulation, and regulatory submissions.

·         Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with regulatory requirements.

·         Participate in laboratory investigations and support continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Qualifications:

 

·         Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related field.

·         Proven experience in method development and validation using LCMS and/or GCMS in a pharmaceutical or related industry.

·         Strong understanding of GMP/GLP regulations and guidelines.

·         Proficiency in analytical techniques and instrumentation, including HPLC, UPLC, and chromatography.

·         Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

·         Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
