Are you Computational Chemist with a passion for designing, improving and implementing best in class tools and scientific techniques?
You will have the opportunity to research, develop and fine tune cutting edge Computational Scientific techniques. They will be used internally as well as across the Biotech industry and Academia.

A quick snapshot of the role…
- You'll be responsible for exploring new scientific literature, collaborating with the CompChem team to bring new techniques and tools for molecule and drug discovery to life.
- You'll be able to have ownership of projects be able to produce publications around your ever evolving CompChem Techniques.
- Co-Supervising PhD students, academic collaborators to aid cutting edge research.
- Expand software tooling and techniques for existing methods such as ligand-based virtual screening, free energy methods and accelerated dynamics methods.
- Be able to provide expert level support for internal and external customers.
About you…
- Have a proven track record of working within drug discovery within industry (5 years + for this senior level role)
- Have a genuine motivation to work with cutting edge Computational Chemistry methodologies and helping Cheminformaticians with easy to use, high output software solutions.
- Be a creative problem solver
- Challenge and questions how CompChem can be done in a more effective and efficient way
- Feel comfortable introducing novel ideas to experience people in industry, academia, internally and externally
- Have a strong technical tool kit with excellent Python programming skills
