​Freelance QA Manager

I am partnered with an established and fast-growing pharmaceutical contract services provider that has invested significantly into growth over the past 10 years. They are working in a contract manufacturing, packaging and distribution capacity with clients on a global level.

Given immediate challenges on site, there is a need to bring in a strong, experienced QA Manager who will take a hands on lead.

Managing remediation projects that are already underway, along with taking a longer term view of how to develop a quality strategy through effective recruitment and retention, this is a critical hire with a high level of responsibility from the outset.

You will be available to start quickly and bring with you hands on experience in a GMP primary or secondary packaging facility. Alongside this, you will bring experience of working with different regulatory bodies, in particular the FDA. Any experience with the HPRA is a bonus.

This will be a site based position, with some potential for remote working further into the contract – although this would likely remain as 4 days on site.

Flexibility to be present across different shift patterns would be a significant advantage.

Key experience:

·       Very strong experience QA experience within a GMP Pharmaceutical setting

·       Experience of remediation projects

·       Good understanding of primary and secondary packaging

·       FDA experience, ideally alongside other regulatory bodies.

·       Although working as a freelancer – the ability to integrate into the team dynamic is critical, understanding how to influence quality culture

·       People management experience is beneficial
