Head of Medical Writing (Oncology)

We have partnered with a global pharmaceutical company on an exclusive search to identify their new Head of Medical Writing. Candidates must have at least 5+ years of Medical Writing experience.

​

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned Medical Writer to plan and implement your own vision of how a Medical Writing department should operate. You will be asked to make a strategic assessment of the Medical Writing department and provide a functional and procedural direction for the future.

​

As the Head of Medical Writing, you will provide oversight to and contribute towards the development and completion of clinical and regulatory submissions documents (CSRs, IBs, protocols, briefing documents, INDs, NDAs, BLAs, etc) for an advanced pipeline of drugs. This company has several fast-track designations as well as multiple NDAs planned for the next few years, so extensive submission experience is highly preferred. Oncology experience is required.

With a mix of both internal and external contributors, you will provide leadership skills and an eye for efficiency to ensure projects meet both timeline and budgetary goals. Prior experience successfully leading teams is considered extremely valuable to our client.
