Manufacturing Manager

Are you an experienced Production/Manufacturing Manager looking to make your mark in a global leader in the drug development and manufacturing market?

I am partnered with a highly reputable CDMO who provide full life cycle services ranging from research and development through to clinical and commercial manufacture. As well as operating within the small molecule market, they are also leading the way across the EU for advanced therapy product registration.

As part of their expansion across the UK, this is a brand-new headcount being brought in to help oversee the growth and development of the operations team. Depending on the profile of the successful person, this might be solely across the production facility but could also include the warehouse and dispensing departments.

The emphasis of this hire is about strong leadership and people management skills. Whilst specific technical experience within non-sterile pharmaceutical products (especially solid dose) would be a nice to have, at its core, this position is about operational management and ensuring the continued development of the people in the team, as well as ensuring high end client delivery.

Experience

·       Experienced Production or Manufacturing Manager, with a demonstrable track record of leading successful operational teams

·       GMP experience is essential – a pharmaceutical setting is strongly preferred but other regulated comparable environments may be considered

·       Strong people management and leadership skills

·       Experience in oral solid dose manufacturing advantageous

·       Experience and/or understanding of a CMO/CDMO setting would be advantageous

·       Hands on experience of working with regulatory bodies and hosting audits

·       Life Sciences or Engineering degree (or equivalent) – PhD would be a nice to have
