RBW Consulting are delighted to be working with a leading name in the global biopharma industry who are seeking a Principal Human Factors Engineer/Scientist to join their team on a hybrid work pattern in Waterford, Ireland.

Key responsibilities:

• Complete understanding and wide application of usability/HF principles, guidance and regulations in the field
• Provides solutions to a wide range of usability related problems
• Contributes to completion of specific programs and projects
• Frequent internal and external contacts in providing solutions to complex usability issues associated with specific projects
• Develops solutions to difficult problems which require ingenuity and creativity
• Guides the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role
• Serves as usability/HF expert on projects
• Interacts primarily with senior internal staff and occasionally with external contacts on usability matters often requiring coordination between organizations
• You will be a key point of contact for all Human factors across the site

Requirements:

• Educated to Degree Level in Engineering/Science/Product Design or equivalent Discipline with strong experience in a similar R&D environment
• A usability/Human Factors Engineering subject matter expert in requirements and regulations
• Ideally 3-5 years experience in a Human Factors discipline

Experience in:

• Application of Human factors/Usability engineering regulations and guidance
• Providing solutions to complex problems within R&D
• Authoring SOPs and Technical reports
• Developing and executing usability studies
