Process Technician – Bioprocessing

Working with a long-standing client based in the heart of South Wales, I am now supporting them with the expansion of their manufacturing capabilities.

With steady and consistent growth in both headcount and profitability over the past 10 years, this business has gone from strength to strength in expanding manufacturing operations to pilot and commercial scale.

Working in an exciting area of science, they are partnering with customers on a global scale, providing speciality biological materials to support not only the pharmaceutical industry but also other advancing markets.

For the current requirements, they are looking to identify at least two new team members to join the manufacturing teams. These hires will be focused on managing all process and manufacturing activities in both the small and larger scale units, following GMP and handling a range of equipment, including bioreactors.

You will work for the day shift teams which operate 6am-6pm on a continental shift pattern (4 days on, 4 days off). On top of a competitive basic, there will be a 15% shift allowance.

Experience:

• Experience in a similar bioprocessing manufacturing setting would be ideal, although not essential 

• Foundation of experience or understanding of bioprocessing equipment (e.g. bioreactors)

• Experience and/or understanding of working in a regulated setting

• Process led, methodical mindset with the ability to follow protocols accurately

• Strong team player with excellent communication skills

• Flexible and adaptable with an ability to learn quickly
