Senior Maintenance Engineer

Working in exclusive partnership with a leading name in their industry, we are continuing to support this business expand its operations across sites in the UK and across Europe.

This brand new hire will join the team as an additional headcount alongside another senior member of the team. This is not, at present, a line management role but instead one that is focused on taking joint accountability for all production, laboratory and wider facility engineering requirements (this is a relatively small facility!).

The approach will need to be a blend of reactive and planned maintenance – importantly bringing a “can do” and “hands on” approach, given the time constrained factors in producing these advanced pharmaceuticals.

The role will be core hours (approx. 7am-3pm, with flexibility) working a 40 hour week. There will be an on-call rota.

Key experience:

• Previous experience in a hands on engineering position within the pharmaceutical industry

• Experience of GMP is essential

• Multi-skilled engineering capability – both mechanical and electrical

• An appreciation of IT and cloud based systems is advantageous

• Experienced in both reactive and planned maintenance

• Willig to be hands on and have a flexible approach to work
