Are you an experienced Manufacturing Manager within a pharmaceutical setting?

Looking for your net step into a wider operational management role?

If so, this could be the perfect opportunity!

I am working with a well established CDMO that has operations across the UK and Ireland and that is now looking to bring in a fresh face to the team in order to oversee production, warehouse and planning in the North-East manufacturing facility.

Whilst you can join the business in the role of Production Manager or Senior Production Manager, the intent is to move you towards an Operational leadership role in the coming months.

Based on a relatively small site of around 70 people, this will be a hands on position that will require a strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing and how to create efficient and successful teams with a high focus on delivery.

Working on the leadership team, you will not only have the responsibility of operational delivery but will also be key to developing longer term strategy within operations as the business continues to expand its services.

Experience:

• Experienced within pharmaceutical production / manufacturing

• Strong GMP experience

• Previous leadership and management experience is essential, with the ability to directly and indirectly manage the team.

• Excellent understanding of how to optimise and measure effectiveness within manufacturing and warehouse settings

• Experience of handling quality issues – dealing with deviations and writing change controls in particular

• Willingness to be on site full time
