​Senior Scientific Associate – Analytical Chemistry

Partnering with a global pharmaceutical business with sites in Central Europe and North America, we are now supporting a hire for a 12 month contract based on-site in their offices in Basel.

Working in their ADQC (Analytical Development and Quality Control) team, you will be dealing with all analytical and QC challenges with raw materials and finished products. This will include method development, optimisation and validation.

There is the potential for a non-Swiss national to be supported with the provision of a visa for this position. For transparency, no relocation support is provided.

Key experience:

• Relevant life sciences degree or equivalent

• Strong analytical chemistry background (with MSc 3+ years or without 4+ years)

• Experienced in a range of wet chemistry and instrumentation techniques including HPLC

• Understanding of both method development and validation

• Strong experience of GMP

• Proficient in English – written and oral
