​Senior Scientist – Drug Product Development

Partnering with a globally recognised biopharmaceutical company specialising in neurology, immunology and rare diseases, we are supporting the hire for a long term contract within the process and product development team.

With a focus on developing high quality, fit for purpose biological manufacturing processes, you will take a leading role in the team. Focusing on downstream processing, you will work closely with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to deliver the highest quality batches.

Given that this is a senior role, a strong focus on quality and validation activities within the process development and optimisation phase is critical.

The contract length is for 2.5 years and you will be paid on a competitive hourly rate.

Experience:

• A minimum of 3 years in sterile drug product development and/or manufacturing

• Experience in GMP is essential

• Experienced in liquid product development under aseptic conditions is required

• Strong technical and practical experience of downstream processing / DSP / DP

• An understanding of phase 1 development challenges would be advantageous
