Analytical Specialist Team Lead
Key Responsibilities:
Management & Organization: Lead and manage the pharmaceutical materials sampling and testing section within the Quality Control (QC) department.
Specification Generation: Develop and maintain starting material specifications ensuring compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
Releasing Officer Duties: Assume responsibility for the final approval of all pharmaceutical starting materials, packaging components, and consumables prior to their use in manufacturing finished medicinal products.
Efficient Processing: Ensure that all procured materials and components are sampled, analyzed, and processed efficiently, minimizing delays from receipt to availability for production, packaging, and other business areas.
Technical Support: Provide functional and technical support to the Starting Materials team within the QC department.
System Accuracy: Maintain accurate and current information in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and/or ERP system for received goods to ensure efficient processing and traceability, crucial for product recalls.
Specialist Advice: Offer expert advice on starting materials and components to senior Quality and Production staff.
Collaboration: Liaise with senior staff within the QC Laboratories, Production areas, and Procurement department to ensure timely processing and approval of materials and components.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in a QC environment within the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong knowledge of cGMP and other relevant regulatory requirements.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in LIMS and ERP systems.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
