A leading clinical stage T cell therapy company situated in Boston, is seeking an exceptional candidate for their Director, Preclinical Development opening. The company has programs in Discovery, Preclinical and Clinical stages in Immuno-oncology, Infectious Disease and Autoimmune Disease indications and good collaborations with leading Pharmaceutical companies.

Role:

  • Design and oversee stage specific PK programs to advance novel therapeutics into the clinic.

  • Bring data packages together for IND enabling studies and filing.

  • Lead programs to develop, validate and transfer bioanalytical methods and assays to support drug discovery and development teams.

  • Collaborate with external teams to device and monitor safety testing in conjunction with internal (biology and pharmacology) teams.

  • Work cross functionally and manage relationships with external stakeholders.

  • Author and review documents in support of regulatory filings.

Required:

  • PhD in Pharmacology, Toxicology or related discipline with 10+ years of relevant industry experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in pharmacokinetic studies, bioanalytical methods and toxicology.

  • Prior experience authoring sections of regulatory filings, especially IND enabling studies, is valuable.

  • Deep understanding of protein biologics and development of data packages to support clinical development is highly preferred.

  • Experience collaborating with Oncology drug discovery and development functions.

  • Prior knowledge working with external vendors (CROs/CMOs) is highly preferred.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, time-management and mentoring skills.
