​IT Technical Analyst

An excellent opportunity has arisen within a field leading client of ours based in Hemel Hempstead, currently looking for an IT Technical Analyst. The successful candidate will focus primarily on the implementation and roll out of the company’s Corporate ERP system (JD Edwards World) to the Operations, covering fundamental business processes such as: Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay, Manufacturing, Inventory & Logistics management.

The role is to manage, facilitate, and ultimately perform implementations using a multitude of business, technical and project management skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Understanding and communicating the project scope

• Undertaking Business processes mapping – current/future state

• Performing Gap Analysis (existing/new business systems)

• Set-up of application environments and configuration

• Coordination & execution of data conversions/reconciliations

• Maintain comprehensive project plans with key milestones

• Assisting with resource planning and risk assessments

• Support with Planning & Organising core location implementation team

• Support with Planning & Delivering comprehensive application training

• Raising Development requirements where change is required

• Ensuring Compliance of Implementation Audit Processes

• Ensuring Compliance of Sarbanes Oxley policies

• Providing Post Implementation Support

• Status Reporting to all stakeholders

• Co-ordination and management of project SharePoint

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Hands on ERP manufacturing / distribution knowledge essential

• Excellent project management and organisation skills

• Ability to work with business partners to define and outline project objectives, scope and deliverables

• Comprehensive problem-solving skills to explore and recommend best fit solutions

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required for data analysis and conversion

• Previous practical experience of data conversion is required

• Strong communication & interpersonal skills as need to work consistently and professionally with personnel at all levels of the organisation.

• Willingness to deliver training in a variety of modules/applications

• Flexible approach to changing priorities/roles to support business needs

• Flexibility to travel when required
