Following a senior internal promotion, my client is now looking to hire a new Production Manager to oversee an expanding pharmaceutical contract services facility.

With significant site growth over recent years, the business has created a new layer of progression routes for the existing team and therefore this position represents a fantastic opportunity for an experienced manufacturing/production manager who is looking to build their career.

With responsibility for the whole production and engineering operations, this hire will be responsible for both direct and indirect reports, as well as ensuring operational compliance in line with the Quality department.

Working closely with the new Head of Operations, this position will be instrumental in ensuring that the operations team is well positioned to deliver on the increasing customer demand for services, as well as ensuring that development opportunities are maximised within the team.

Key experience:

·       Manufacturing/Production experience in a Pharmaceutical GMP setting is essential

·       Primary or secondary packaging experience is essential

·       Must have previous management experience – with a track record of coaching and developing teams

·       Experience of audit involvement/hosting audits desirable

·       Continuous improvement mindset

·       An understanding of the HPRA would be advantageous
