Position: Site Microbiologist

Responsibilities:
· Serve as the subject matter expert in microbiology for the site, providing guidance and expertise on all microbiological matters.
· Implement and maintain microbiological testing programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
· Conduct environmental monitoring, including air and surface sampling, to assess and maintain the cleanliness of the facility.
· Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure quality and safety.
· Investigate and resolve microbiological issues, deviations, and out-of-specification results in a timely manner.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with quality assurance, manufacturing, and other departments to support continuous improvement initiatives.
· Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in microbiology to drive innovation and compliance.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a microbiology role within the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong understanding of GMP regulations.
· Proven expertise in microbiological testing techniques, environmental monitoring, and microbiological method validation.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex microbiological concepts to diverse stakeholders.
· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
