​1st Line Systems Support Engineer - London - £25,000 + Bonus + Benefits

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen within a field leading client of ours based close to London Bridge, who are currently looking to add a 1st Line Systems Support Engineer to their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join an experienced team that can offer the platform for career development. The ideal candidate must have a strong customer services background, be used to working to SLA’s and also someone who is passionate about IT.

You will be the first point of contact for all queries raised via telephone or tickets from internal users, ensuring a high level of customer service and support is provided. Providing 1st line support, resolving tickets and escalating where necessary.

Technical Skills;

• Working knowledge of Windows 10

• Desktop office suite packages (e.g., Microsoft Office)

• Experience administering Microsoft server environments

• Experience of working in a Service desk / ITIL environment

• Understanding of PC hardware, set up and configuration

• Working knowledge of using a ticketing system

• Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the company in a professional manner, via telephone and face to face.

• Excellent attitude to customer service.

• Methodical and logical approach to problem diagnosis and resolution.

• Excellent organisational skills.

• Capacity to work effectively on your own and within a team.

• Ability to demonstrate practical troubleshooting and problem analysis techniques.
