Application Product Scientist/ Engineer - Electrochemistry

£40 – 60kpa depending on experience

My client is an advanced material supplier at the cutting edge of material science and has invented, patented and commercialised its proprietary and revolutionary design for a manufacturing process which produces a high-performance 3D graphene foam, on any surface in seconds enabling disruptive biotech manufacturers to develop, groundbreaking, highly accurate and pioneering point of care, diagnostic devices.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-growth environment with a fast-paced and collaborative culture where you will work with some fantastic customers conducting research at the forefront of science and technology.

This is a remote opportunity with 25 – 40% (depending on need) travel required for a client meeting or onsite visits

Essential Skills

Customer-facing experience is essential. Ideally working in a customer-facing role now.

• Strong technical understanding A key partnership role in the steps of scientific research and development

• Good understanding of Electrochemical assays

• Experienced within a role requiring significant technical problem-solving based on own technical knowledge/subject matter expertise

• Can demonstrate resourcing multiple projects/clients with varying levels of support at differing stages of the project lifecycle

• Experience in the concept-to-product lifecycle of technology-based solutions and sensitive to the commercial considerations at each of these steps

• Thrives in challenging situations and ambiguous environments - you can think on your feet

Supporting customers in technical understanding and scoping projects

• Presenting technical findings and seeking feedback

• A confident and adaptable technical speaker to varying stakeholders

Provided or assisted with technical problem-solving and demonstrations for customer or client
