Our client is a global organization committed to advancing healthcare through innovative medicines and solutions. They are focused on oncology research and development, aiming to lead the way in the development of new therapies. The Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) department plays a crucial role in providing support for our portfolio, including ADME/DMPK and translational PKPD Modeling & Simulation.

They are seeking an individual with a passion for ADME and DMPK science, particularly in the context of oncology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage a team of ADME scientists, providing mentorship, challenges, and expert advice for complex data interpretation.

• Develop and implement cutting-edge technologies in drug metabolism and transporters.

• Lead DMPK-related compound design activities to address project ADME challenges effectively.

• Apply expert knowledge of DMPK, physico-chemical property assays, and biotransformation reactions to guide discovery project chemistry and data.

• Recommend, initiate, and champion new innovations in DMPK project science strategies.

• Collaborate on research aligned with DMPK and oncology objectives, contributing to publications in internationally recognized journals.

Minimum Requirements:

• PhD or equivalent degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Pharmacology, with experience in drug discovery. Alternatively, a higher degree in a relevant research area related to DMPK science.

• At least 10 years of relevant industry experience in ADME/Project Representation, or a MS degree with at least 13+ years of relevant industry experience.
