This is a unique engineering management opportunity to join a fast-growing contract services provider within the pharmaceutical industry – if you come from this industry, then fantastic but if not, don’t stop reading.

My client has gone from strength to strength over the past several years, including opening up this brand-new facility, which provides production and packaging services for pharmaceutical clients on a global scale.

Given the nature of the operations, there is now a need for a new Engineering Supervisor to join the business taking a dual approach in being hands on with the engineering work itself, as well as leading team of engineers working at different experience levels.

Working with unique manufacturing equipment, you will most certainly be learning something new joining this business – but most importantly what you will bring is a practical mindset to proactive and reactive problem solving, as well as a measured approach to managing and developing a team.

Given the expansion of the business, progression opportunities and exposure to new responsibilities is most certainly available for those would be seeking this.

Whilst the engineering teams operates in a shift pattern, this role would 37.5hrs per week Mon-Fri standard core hours.

Key experience:

-5 years or more worth of experience in engineering/mechanical industry – ideally pharmaceutical but within another regulated setting would be considered

-GMP experience is ideal – but if you have worked to other high level quality standards and want to progress into pharmaceuticals, this could still present as an option

-Direct management experience

-Multiskilled engineering background advantageous – if you are more mechanically or electrically biased, it doesn’t matter if you know how to you apply this in a production setting

-Engineering qualifications would be advantageous but experience is of greater value
