Freelance Clinical Project Manager – Hungary

2 days in Budapest office, 3 days WFH

I’m partnered with a mid-sized pharmaceutical company who are looking for a Freelance Senior Clinical Project Manager to manage clinical studies across a number of countries in Central Eastern Europe.

The Senior CPM will act as a matrix leader and will be accountable for the timely execution of specific tasks within the protocols across a large phase 3 study.

This is a 1 year contract on a full FTE with expectations of working in the Hungary office in Budapest 2 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility, pre-study visits, site initiation visits, monitoring visits and/or close out visits as necessary
• Ensure that the monitoring team are trained on study specific procedures and aspects
• Coordinate and oversee project activities
• Successfully manage the vendors involved in the study
• Ensure that the monitoring activities are conducted as well as regularly reviewing the activity of monitoring, remote monitoring, contact and telephone contact reports
• Update and check the Trial Master File (TMF) of the studies as well as ensuring that the site TMF are checked by the monitoring team according to sponsor procedures

Requirements

• Degree in a scientific field
• In depth knowledge of GCP and techniques for the monitoring of clinical trials
• At least 4 years working as a Clinical Project Manager and managed projects across more than one country
• Experience with managing CROs and being point of contact for external vendors
• Background as CPM on large scale phase 3 studies
• Previous experience working as a freelancer
• Currently available to start as soon as possible
