​Operations Director

This is an outstanding opportunity to join an established CDMO, that has evolved from a small in-house operation to a sizeable manufacturer serving an international market.

Having recently reached a new, exciting milestone, the business has now secured multiple key projects over the coming years and are now investing heavily in to the facility and wider infrastructure, to support this delivery moving forwards.

This critical hire will be responsible for running on site operations across production, packaging and supply chain processes. With both direct and indirect reports, leadership is a core component of this role in order to drive delivery, as site expansion continues in order to meet increasing customer demand.

This role requires site presence.

Experience:

• Established experience overseeing operational functions in a pharmaceutical manufacturing capacity

• Strong GMP experience

• Experience in sterile/aseptic manufacturing strongly preferred

• Ideally, a good understanding and hands on experience of FDA regulations

• Demonstrable experience of leading teams directly and indirectly

• A strong understanding of the differences between a CDMO and traditional in-house pharmaceutical setting
